This is an excellent place to learn about local marine life. They have aquariums and displays. It's free, but donations are encouraged.
A lot of interesting information, historical and ecological the volunteer that worked that day was phenomenal. I wish I could remember his name . Great displays and pictures, glad to see they have a children's education program... can spend 30 minutes or a couple of hours your choice.
My two sons (4 & 7 at the time) had a lot of fun, and the exhibits were interesting to the adults as well. Nice place, and a great stop to learn more about the area. There was also a cool outdoor farmer's/seafood market set up on the highway in front of the Maritime Center. Neat all the way around.
